Do your prayers bounce off the ceiling?
I hear many people say, it is as if their prayers are bouncing off the ceiling. Many people are living powerless lives full of besetting sins and wonder why their prayers don’t work.
Let’s find out how we can have an effective prayer life:
James 4:2-3 says:
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
When you hear this passage, your sin may not be as bad as someone else’s sin, but you may simply be asking amiss or asking the wrong questions for the wrong reasons.
God wants to have a relationship with you. He wants to hear from you. He wants to talk to you.
The key is that you should pray in the right way if you want your prayers answered.
Pray to the Father, YHWH, the Great IAM THAT IAM, in the Name of Jesus Christ, his only begotton Son.
Pray it is written and then decree and declare that written Word claiming God’s promise over your life.
Pray it in the name of Jesus Christ and by the Power of the HOLY SPIRIT!
